The travel blog Capture the Atlas is known for its impressive photographs, especially the astounding satellite images of the Milky Way. It even published a calendar with the best days and times for photographing this incredible sight, so that it is easier for photographers to take stunning photos of our galaxy. And recently, Dan Zafra, editor-in-chief of the blog, reviewed a huge number of works to select the 25 best frames.
So, here are two and a half dozen pictures of the Milky Way, which emphasize the adventurous spirit of their authors. Whether it’s climbers climbing a glacier in the Dolomites under the radiance of the galaxy, or a lone traveler in the Sahara – each photo has its own special story. But each of these stories proves that what we are looking at is not just a snapshot, but a special memory that cannot be repeated.
