I wanted to go to Innsbruck for a long time. And certainly in the winter, when there is snow and mountains around, and steam comes out of your mouth, and you are looking for where to sit and admire this white beauty, admire … In the summer, after all, this is not the same, even though Innsbruck is beautiful in any season.

There are many tourists here in winter. And it’s not just the beauty of the landscapes. Nearby are ski resorts that can be reached even by ski lift, so the city is teeming with skiers and snowboarders, and there are many families on vacation here, especially on holidays and on vacations in neighboring Bavaria.

About the sights, I collected only the names: Golden Roof, Hofburg Palace, funicular, streets and legendary colored houses on the waterfront. Everything else you just need to inspect, go around and enjoy.

We walked into the city from the side of the station, using the seventh feeling rather than maps)) In my opinion, this is always one of the best decisions: to go, admire the beauty and be happy that you are here!

So we went to one of the wide main streets, and did not lose. This is where Innsbruck begins.

And here is what it was worth to come to Tyrol for – fresh alpine air and “candied” mountain peaks!

Innsbruck in the details:

But what is very original and interesting is the thematic narrow streets of the old city. On the street of fairy tales, miniatures on the plots of works hang on houses.

And here are the characters of Giants Street:

In the evening, the city is even more mysterious.

Since the first day passed in euphoria, all the most responsible was assigned to the second. I wouldn’t forgive myself if I didn’t go upstairs. Although this is still a feature of the city, it is not cold and there is no snow due to the lack of height. Those who love post-merchants should buy a ticket to the top of the Nordkette. True, it costs like a standard ski pass – 40 euros. But to me, to me! I admire it for 10 minutes, so I’m for the first platform!

Souvenirs in Innsbruck are unpretentious. If you have already been to Austria, you will meet “acquaintances”: statuettes of Sissy and Mozart, violins, fruit liqueurs in mini-bottles at maxi prices) Plates with Innsbruck paintings, Tyrolean panties on straps, socks made of natural wool are perhaps the most original souvenirs here .

I walked so that I forgot about the colorful promenade!)) So I had to go here in the evening.

And run in the afternoon, for sure))

Recently, no trip is complete for me without a cultural event. Of all the museums, I chose the Hofburg Palace – the former Tyrolean residence of the kings! Inside what? That’s right – you can’t take pictures!

Well, such a morning view from the balcony of our room became a cherry on the cake. In my opinion, it’s just great!

Innsbruck is not a cheap city, but it is ideal for a weekend with notes of romance and freedom!
